Nissan Motor Corp. In Guam wins GLOBAL NISSAN AWARD - 12/16/09


Van Shelly, President of Nissan Motor Corporation Guam announced today that Nissan Guam has been presented a global award for excellence by Mr. Carlos Ghosn the President and CEO of Nissan Motor Company, Ltd.   Nissan Motor Corporation Guam is one of only 13 companies within Nissan worldwide to receive this prestigious award.  

Mr. Carlos Ghosn, President and CEO of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. awarded the Global Nissan Award for 2008 (Fiscal Year ending March 31, 2009) to Nissan Guam stating "The Global Nissan Award is a prize that affirms effective, daily activity toward achieving business objectives."

Mr. Junichi Endo, the Senior Vice President for Global Marketing & Sales for Nissan commented that the work achieved by Nissan Guam was outstanding and provided an example of how Nissan is achieving it recovery plan during these difficult economic times.  He went on to say that "Nissan Guam is demonstrating our commitment to offer a "Top Level" purchase and ownership experience to our customers."

Van Shelly, Nissan Guam President & CEO thanked Nissan Motor Co., Ltd senior management with these words "Our team is honored to be recognized in this way.  This is of course a collective effort. Being recognized world-wide for what we have achieved is something we all take great pride in, hearing the news of what we accomplished together."
