2017 INFINITI QX70 fuel economy

The 2017 model of the QX70 comes in one trim level, but it is available in a 4×2 drivetrain as well as all-wheel drive. The altering drivetrains result in different fuel economies because they each use different amounts of engine power. The base 4×2 INFINITI QX70 averages 24 highway MPG and 17 city MPG. For its class, that isn’t too shabby. For midsize SUVs, any highway MPG rating that hovers around 25 or so is respectable. The all-wheel drive version, on the other hand, averages 22 highway MPG and 16 city MPG. Again, these numbers are slightly lower because all-wheel drivetrains require the engine to work harder and burn more fuel.

Both drivetrains feature the same engine under the QX70’s hood. So, no matter what, you will enjoy the same powerful ride. The only engine option available is a 3.7-liter six-cylinder engine that is powered by 325 horses. The V6 engine ought to be enough to satisfy anyone’s needs of excitement and power. Push the pedal down while you go up the onramp or down the freeway and you will enjoy the roar and acceleration. And you will do that while knowing your fuel economy is just as good as others in your class.
