The standard maximum towing capacity comes in at a best-in-class rating of up to 6,000 lbs. This tow limit gives drivers plenty of room to tow two-axle recreational trailers for watercraft, flatbeds, or campers. The Xtronic transmission design helps to keep the engine RPM optimized while towing without the usual “hunting for a gear” feel.
Other engine specs include standard 284 horsepower and a torque rating of 259 lb.-ft. On 2WD models, the 2018 Pathfinder gets 27 MPG highway, and 26 MPG highway on 4WD models.

The base trim (S) with all-wheel drive starts at an MSRP of $32,480. The SV starts at $33,480 and $35,170 for 2WD and 4WD, respectively. The 2WD SL comes in at $37,500 while the 4WD version is $39,190. The most exclusive trim level, the Platinum starts at $42,320 and $44,010.
