Nissan TITAN King Cab dubbed Rocky Mountain Pickup Truck of the Year

You can add another accolade to the Nissan TITAN’s shelves. The Rocky Mountain Automotive Press gave the 2018 TITAN King Cab its most prestigious award for trucks, the Rocky Mountain Pickup Truck of the Year. Last year, it was the TITAN XD Diesel that took home that honor. This award is given out based on voting done by automotive journalists in the Rocky Mountain region. The honor was presented during the annual Charity Preview Party at the Denver Auto Show. Keep reading to learn about the TITAN King Cab’s dimensions and performance.

Though there are three separate trims of the TITAN King Cab, there is one engine option. But it is an impressive one. The TITAN King Cab sports a 5.6-liter V8 engine with 390 horsepower. The S and SV trim levels are available in 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains, while the PRO comes exclusively in 4×4. In addition, the TITAN King Cab produces 394 pound-foot of torque.  When properly equipped, the TITAN King Cab can tow up to 9,400 lbs. These specs and strength numbers are big reasons why the TITAN King Cab was honored by the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press.
