Skipping the test drive

Anytime you are serious about buying a particular car, please test drive it first. Some shoppers just assume that the car they want will feel as good as it looks, and they are sorely mistaken all too often. Most dealerships, including INFINITI Guam, will let you test drive any vehicle for free. Make it a thorough test drive, too. Take in on the highway, go down city streets, and check under the hood. Not to mention that test driving cars is probably the most enjoyable part of the consumer’s research process!

Lackadaisical research

When making an investment of tens of thousands of dollars, it’s imperative that you do your due diligence. Make sure that the car or cars you are looking at are really worth what the seller is trying to get. Kelley Blue Book is a great resource and it should be used any time you are buying a car. Also, you should compare prices of similar models between dealerships.

Buying from someone untrustworthy

If you ever feel uncomfortable with the person selling the vehicle, walk away. You’re better off looking around at other places than buying from someone you don’t trust. Many car purchases are done off-site from dealerships, so if you are responding to an online ad, only go through with the purchase if you completely trust the seller.

We hope these few tips help you out the next time you are looking to buy a car. Don’t forget that we here at INFINITI Guam are here to help you!
