Exterior Design of New Nissan INFINITI Concept
A bird’s eye view of the new concept car, which was released by the automaker recently, shows a convertible design, with sports style seating. The body appears to resemble a Formula One car, potentially a call out to the rumored performance nature of the vehicle. This ties in well with the plans of INFINITI, which have the carmaker looking to focus on performance electric vehicles after 2021.
INFINITI also states that the new car will provide a window into their desire to bring the best possible driving enjoyment and performance, and all with an electrified powertrain! But, what are the specifics of this new powertrain system?
INFINITI Electric Powertrain Known Details
Not a lot is known about the new powertrain of the performance vehicle that has been teased so far but looking at the past electric vehicles proposed by INFINITI, we can formulate an idea. At the Detroit Auto Show earlier in the year, INFINITI unveiled their plans for an electric car, the Q-Inspiration, a design concept.
This vehicle was powered by a VC-Turbo powertrain, which was said to deliver the same efficiency of a hybrid or diesel car, meaning that it could be a viable option in terms of power. Exact figures, however, are not known.
