Nissan is a legendary auto manufacturer with loads of great models available. What’s their answer to the sedan market? The Sentra, Altima, and Maxima. With the Altima in the middle, it’s the sweet spot for a lot of car-buyers, but how does it compare to the competition? How about we compare it to the best that Chevy has to offer in the segment with our 2020 Nissan Altima vs 2020 Chevy Malibu comparison. If you know anything about these two brands, it should come as no surprise that the Altima will come out on top. You can keep reading to find out how, but if you already know you want an Altima on Guam, you can check out our inventory at Nissan Guam by clicking on the link below.

The most interesting available feature of the Altima is the inclusion of available all-wheel drive! Most sedans do not offer all-wheel drive as a feature, but the Altima offers all-wheel drive across almost its entire lineup including the base S trim level. The Malibu doesn’t offer all-wheel drive at all.
When it comes to horsepower, the Sentra comes out well on top with 28 additional horsepower, and that much of a difference will not go unnoticed. If you want even more power, you can get the Altima with a turbo powerplant that outputs up to 236 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque.
When it comes to features, the Altima is prepared to impress with standard automatic emergency braking. That’s a valuable safety feature that you have to go up several trim levels on the Malibu to get to. Along with automatic emergency braking, you get blind-spot warning, high beam assist, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and more. Another interesting safety feature that the Altima has available that can’t be found at all on the Malibu is a 360-degree camera system that allows for a complete view of your sedan’s immediate surroundings. How futuristic is that?
