2022 Nissan Pathfinder in Guam

You might’ve noticed that a Nissan Pathfinder was never released for the 2021 model year. If you’re a fan of the adventure-read SUV like we are, this might’ve been disheartening. But we’re here now to tell you that there was indeed a reason for this, but the reason is a good one! The upcoming 2022 model year will see an all-new, next-gen Pathfinder here in Guam. The crossover has been around since all the way back in 1985, but 2021 will see it enter its fifth generation, and we cannot wait!

According to Nissan itself, the Pathfinder has been “re-invented from the ground-up.” Far too much has changed for us to be able to cover every detail on this one page, but we’re definitely going to go over a bunch of the highlights that we’re most excited about. As you can tell just from a glance through the pictures here on this page, the Pathfinder’s design has been completely reimagined, now adopting a much bolder and more rugged aesthetic than previous iterations.

While the design is exciting, we might be even more excited about all of the new powertrain components. Available at a starting MSRP of $33,410, the new Pathfinder is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that’s capable of generating 284 horsepower alongside 259 pound-feet of torque, its bolstered by an all-new transmission and drive system. The transmission is a 9-speed automatic that enhances the vehicle’s response, offering both smoother and stronger transitioning between gears. The drive system is an Intelligent 4WD system that features 7-position Drive and a Terrain Mode Selector. Everything works together to provide a best-in-class towing capacity of up to 6,000 pounds when properly equipped. In the 2022 model, the Pathfinder will be available in 4 different trim levels: S, SV, SL, and Platinum.

The cabin has plenty of new goodies to offer as well, providing seating for up to 8 with new options like captain’s chairs and EX FLEX one-touch release. Up front a host of new technologies and features are sure to make each experience on the road more enjoyable, including a 10.8” Head-up Display, 12.3” digital dashboard, ProPILOT Assist with Navi-Link, and, of course, standard Nissan Safety Shield 360.
