How many people does a Nissan Rogue seat?

2017 Nissan Rogue third row seating

If you have a big family, or a need to regularly haul several people, sometimes a crossover just isn’t enough, but that isn’t the case when it comes to Nissan. The Rogue has been winning hearts and minds since its debut, and it’s ready to impress you with its available seating capacity. Learn about the available 2017 Nissan Rogue third row seating right here.

Which rogue trims have available third row seating?

If you are looking for a third row option in the 2017 Nissan Rogue, then you are in luck. Both the S and SV trims have an available third row seat that comes with the Family Package. For 2017, the SL trim does not have a third row option.

With the third row, your rogue will have seating for up to seven people. Both the second and third rows can be folded flat to turn your passenger area into cargo room. The second row can also tilt forward for easy third row access, and both rows have split folding seats to allow the back-end of the Rogue to be completely adaptable.

There are other less common trims that also don’t feature available third row seating. The Midnight Edition for example, does not yet have an option for a third row. Also both the SV Hybrid and the SL Hybrid do not have the third row available likely due to space concerns with the larger and more complicated drivetrain.

What is the Nissan Divide-N-Hide Cargo System?

The Divide-N-Hide Cargo System is an adaptable divider that slots into the rear and allows you to divide up your cargo area in multiple ways. You can create a shelf to store two layers of cargo. You can make a box to keep valuables out of sight. The system can even be used to create storage under the floor.

This Divide-N-Hide Cargo System comes standard on every Rogue model for 2017. However, if you opt for the Family Package and get the third row seat, you will only have one divider available. Either way you will have an innovative cargo system that lets your Nissan Rogue adapt to your cargo needs.
