2018 Nissan 370Z performance

Nissan is no stranger to high performing sports cars. The 370Z is a two-door coupe that epitomizes everything we love about modern sports and performance cars. It has its signature, curved body, unique headlamps, and comfortable yet compact interior. But how do we really measure the quality of a sports car? Well, how do we measure the quality of almost every car? By what’s under the hood. When you sit down behind the wheel of a small, sporty coupe, you expect it to be fast and have great handling. Keep reading to learn what can be found under the 2018 370Z’s hood.

2018 Nissan 370Z engine specs

The new 370Z comes available in several different trim levels. Two different engine options of the same size come with the car. The standard is a 3.7-liter V6 engine that has 332 horsepower and produces 270 pound-foot of torque. That engine is available on the base, Sport, Sport Tech, and Touring models. Drivers who want to get a little more power out of their 370Z will have to check out the signature NISMO model. NISMO is a trademarked brand of Nissan meant for the company’s high performing vehicles. The 370Z NISMO features the same sized engine but with 350 horsepower and 276 pound-foot of torque. Regardless of the engine you prefer, anything with more than 300 horsepower is going to be enough to give you a thrill. Hop in the driver’s seat and speed down the highway (safely, of course).

2018 Nissan 370Z gas mileage

High performing cars usually come at the expense of fuel economy. The 370Z, however, averages respectable MPG ratings across the board. Drivers will see up to 26 highway MPG and 19 city MPG. You will be able to cruise down the freeway with more fun than ever before and you can still save a few bucks at the gas pumps.
