The Kicks? Hold up. What is the Kicks? Well, the Nissan Kicks is the newest addition to the lineup and it is taking the place of the Nissan JUKE. Yes, the newest Nissan is a crossover SUV that improves upon its predecessor’s design and style. The JUKE was a reliable, popular SUV, but the Kicks has a more contemporary appearance that may be appealing to a wider range of drivers. It’s not all about looks, though. Let’s explore what’s under the hood of the all-new Nissan Kicks.

There are a lot of reasons why so many people love crossover SUVs. They hold more cargo space than cars but aren’t nearly as bulky as full-size SUVs. Crossovers are the most versatile vehicles out there today, and the Kicks is no different. What about the engine, though? It’s important to know what’s powering your vehicle, so let’s go over some basic performance specs of the Kicks.
This crossover comes standard with a 1.6-liter DOHC engine that is powered by 125 horses and produces 115 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine contains 16 valves and four cylinders and comes with a Continuous Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS). Xtronic transmission is responsible for changing gears in the Kicks, and the crossover comes standard with advanced braking technologies like brake assist and electronic brake force distribution.
Though the Kicks was unveiled just a couple months ago, it won’t arrive at dealerships until the summer of 2018. We expect to have the 2018 Kicks in our showroom by June 2018, and it will immediately be available for purchase and test drives. Put it on the calendar and come see this new crossover!
