2018 Nissan Rogue Sport engine performance 

Those familiar with Nissan know that the Rogue is the automaker’s best-selling vehicle. What about the Rogue Sport? As your intuition might be telling you, the Rogue Sport is a compact, sportier version of the Rogue. With that smaller size comes a differing engine performance. The Nissan Rogue Sport comes available in three trim levels. They each feature the same engine option. Keep reading to learn more.

2018 Nissan Rogue Sport engine details 

As we said above, all trim levels of the Nissan Rogue Sport feature the same engine. A 141-horsepower, 2.0-liter inline-four-cylinder engine is showcased under the Rogue Sport’s hood. Drivers can enjoy an advanced two-speed CVT auto-manual transmission. Each trim level is also available in standard front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive.

Compared to the Rogue, the Rogue Sport’s engine is slightly smaller. The Rogue features a 2.5-liter I4 engine that is powered by 170 horses. Both models, however, are almost equally efficient. The Rogue averages up to 33 highway MPG* and the Rogue Sport is just a hair lower at 32 highway MPG*. The Rogue Sport is efficient, stylish, and has plenty of power to give you a bit of a thrill.
