2020 Nissan Maxima Driver Assist Features

That’s why many new vehicles have driver assist features. The 2020 Nissan Maxima has several driver assist features included with Nissan Intelligent Mobility™. Driver Assistance Features

1. Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection. This system monitors speed and distance and will let you know when to slow down or brake.
2. Rear Automatic Braking. This will sense stationary object behind you to prevent you from hitting objects when reversing.
3. Intelligent Lane Intervention. If this system detects you unintentionally exiting a lane, it will tap the brakes to guide you back.
4. Intelligent Cruise Control. This will maintain a preset speed and distance from the vehicle ahead of you.
5. Intelligent Around View Monitor. This system provides you with a 360° birds-eye view of your Maxima.
6. Intelligent Forward Collision Warning. The system will watch up to two vehicles ahead to detect sudden deceleration and will warn you to slow down.
7. Rear Cross Traffic Alert. This will warn you if a vehicle is approaching from the side when you are reversing.
8. Blind Spot Warning. If a vehicle enters the blind spot zone, this system will send out a warning.
9. High Beam Assist. These high beams help you have better visibility at night and will automatically switch to low beams when a vehicle is approaching.
10. Traffic Sign Recognition. This system will read road signs to keep you updated on the speed limit as you drive.
11. Intelligent Driver Alertness. This system monitors your steering patterns and detects drowsiness. It will alert you with a chime and an image of a coffee cup on your Driver Assist Display.
