Powering all trim levels of the 2020 Nissan TITAN is a 5.6-liter Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) DOHC 32-valve V8 engine. This engine delivers up to 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. Paired with this engine is a nine-speed automatic transmission. When equipped with two-wheel drive, the Nissan TITAN achieves up to 16 miles per gallon in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. When equipped with the four-wheel-drive, the Nissan TITAN gets up to 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway. The 5.6-liter V8 engine also provides the Nissan TITAN with a towing capacity of 9,370 pounds.

The powerful engine is just one factor that contributes towards the impressive capability of this truck. When equipped with four-wheel-drive and Nissan technology, the Nissan TITAN has impressive off-road capability. Turn the four-wheel-drive to 4LO when taking on steep trails and then turn it down to 4H when it levels out. Additionally, there is a generous amount of ground clearance to help tackle any type of terrain. For slippery terrains, the Active Brake Limited Slip system will provide more power to the wheels for better traction.
