Guam Museum Presents New In Hahasso’ Ha Display

Here at INFINITI Guam, we want to make sure that your family knows all about the new In Hahasso’ Ha exhibit currently on display at the Guam Museum.

The In Hahasso’ Ha display showcases stories, videos, photographs, and more incredible mediums that convey what life on Guam was like during World War II and during the liberation of the Chamorro people. Seeing this event is a great way to educate our younger community members about what life was like here on Guam in the 1940’s. People of all ages will surely love looking at the pictures, watching the videos, and hearing the stories of our rich history.

Horace Bristol Collection

Featured in the In Hahasso’ Ha exhibit is the Horace Bristol collection which hasn’t been on display since 2004!  Horace Bristol was one of five photographers that were recruited by one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century, Edward Steichen. Bristol took 24 incredible photographs back in 1945 of how the hardships of war and liberation affected everyone living on Guam at the time.

Anyone interested in checking out the exhibit should remember that the Guam Museum is closed on Monday, and opens from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday. The In Hahasso’ Ha exhibit will be on display from now until August 20th, so you will have plenty of time to look at it as many times as you would like.
