Christmas and other holidays are right around the corner! Crazy how time flies, isn’t it? It’s nearly 2018, which means it’s time for families to get together to celebrate the holiday season. Seeing everyone at Grandma’s house is wonderful, of course. But you can also celebrate with the whole community. Keep reading to learn about some holiday-related events on Guam.

Government House Peace Festival

This event runs all the way through January 7. Guests can freely visit the Government House in Tamuning. Family fun activities and holiday events are going on every day, including Santa appearances! Yep, the big guy from the North Pole is spending time with us here in Guam. Pretty lucky, huh?

  • Sunday-Thursday: 6 PM-9PM
  • Friday-Saturday: 6 PM-10 PM
  • Santa appearances: Saturdays 6 PM-9 PM

Tumon Illumination Village

December 9, 6 PM-9 PM

The Guam Visitors Bureau annually hosts this event at their building, which is right by the Tumon Sands Plaza. For seven days a week, this village is open through January 14. The village is chock full of special light displays, and this year’s theme is “A Guamazing Christmas.” Bring the family down for some wholesome fun and excitement.
