At the beginning of September, come check out some of the beautiful artwork made by local Sagan Kotturan Chamoru artists at the INFINITI Art Gallery.
There’s nothing better than viewing the amazing work of our local artists here on Guam. We’ve been blessed with so much talent here on our island, and each person brings a different aspect and view point to our island’s rich history. Join us during the first week of September as we come together to enjoy some of our home’s greatest pieces of art, and learn about the origins of our culture.
Starting this Friday at the Nissan Showroom in Upper Tumon, your friends here at INFINITI Guam are hosting a Cultural Dimensions 3 Art Exhibit. Starting Friday, September 1st at 6:00pm, everyone is invited to this free showing of some of the island’s best local artists. Guests in attendance during the showcase will also be treated to cultural performances, weaving demonstrations, a silent auction and much more! For those unable to make the showcase on the first, the exhibit will be on display until September 9th and can be freely viewed Monday through Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
These local artists have spent countless hours over the years volunteering and contributing to the Sagan Kotturan Chamoru in order to get a better understanding and cultivation of our tradition arts and customs. This September all of that hard work will be celebrated and brought together for the whole island to enjoy. Featured artists at the event include: Julie “Jill” Benavente; Johnny “Cake” Siguenza; Ramon Leon Guerrero; Raph Unpingco; and many more!
We encourage everyone to come and enjoy the exhibit for at least one night during its week-long span. People of all ages are welcome, and there are sure to be many chances for swapping stories of days past.
