Available on the 2017 QX80 is a Lane Departure Prevention system. This system is able to monitor your vehicle’s position on the road, and sends alerts if it notices you begin to drift. In addition to providing audible alerts, the QX80 is able to lightly apply brake pressure to help you ease back into your lane.
Also available on the 2017 QX80 is a Distance Control assist feature. This system uses sensors to monitor the distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. By releasing the throttle and automatically applying the brakes, this system is able to maintain a safe distance between vehicles. This feature is incredibly useful in situations when there is a lot of stop-and-start traffic.
Optional on the 2017 INFINITI QX80 is a Blind Spot Warning system. By utilizing sensors on both sides of the vehicle, the QX80 is able to identify when a vehicle in your blind spot. If you begin to change lanes while there is a vehicle in your blind spot, the QX80 sends both audible and visual warnings telling you to stay in your lane.
