Valentine’s Day 2018 ideas on Guam

The international day of love is nearing us. It’s time to start planning out a day or night of showing your significant other how much they mean to you. Granted, you should do that every day, but February 14th works just as well as any. There is nothing wrong with going out for some wine and a nice dinner, but if you want to shake it up a little bit, there are some fun, unique ways you can show your love.

Ballroom dancing

This is much different than dancing at the club. The ballroom might require some formal dress, but that’s half the fun! Either take a class with your sweetie or just put on some waltz music at home and dance around your living room.

Themed dinner and movie night

Put together a homemade dinner and pair it with a related movie. Spaghetti with meatballs is always delicious and it can be even better if you watch Audrey Hepburn fall in love with Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday. Maybe you’re both Disney fans. If so, make some ratatouille and watch Ratatouille!

A second first date

Think back to your first real date with your love. Try to recall some of the details and recreate the whole experience. This will surely impress your significant other and it will bring back some of the old butterflies from back in the day.

Live theatre

We see movies all the time and most of us don’t generally go to live theatre nearly as often. Check out what’s playing in the area and go experience something different. You can also go see live comedy. Improv and standup comedy are some of the best ways to get a stomach-aching laugh.
