The 2020 Nissan LEAF comes with two different electric motor options and two different battery options. The first electric motor is a 110 kW AC synchronous electric motor. This motor delivers up to 147 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. The 110 kW motor is paired with a 40 kWh lithium-ion battery.
The second motor option is a 160 kW AC synchronous electric motor. This motor gets up to 214 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. The 160 kW motor is paired with a 62 kWh lithium-ion battery. This engine also comes standard with a quick charge port with 100 kW of power.

Since the Nissan LEAF is 100% electric, you need to know the benefits of having an all-electric vehicle. One of the first benefits is that you’ll save money. Since the 2020 Nissan LEAF doesn’t use gas, you won’t need to spend a lot of money every time you need to fill up. Another benefit of not using gas, is no tailpipe emissions. Another money saving aspect is that you don’t need to get oil changes. The Nissan LEAF doesn’t use an internal combustion engine so there’s no need to use oil.
