What Do the Warning Lights in My INFINITI Vehicle Mean?

Warning Lights in Your INFINITI Vehicle

Have you ever wondered what the warning lights on your INFINITI vehicle’s instrument cluster mean? If so, then you have come to the right place! The staff here at INFINITI Guam is here to help educate customers on what the warning lights mean inside your INFINITI vehicle. These warning lights are designed to alert drivers if there is an issue or potential issue with your vehicle. Let’s take a closer look at the INFINITI warning lights together!

INFINITI Warning Lights

There are a number of different warning lights that come on in your INFINITI vehicle. A list of the INFINITI warning lights is shown in the graphic below.

As you can see, many of these warning lights are easily explained by their name. However, a few of the warning lights indicate multiple issues of which drivers should make themselves aware. Let’s take a closer look at some of these more complicated warning lights together!

Brake Warning Light

The Brake Warning Light is activated in two different instances—if the parking brake is active or if the brake fluid level is low. If the Brake Warning Light is active while the engine is running and the parking brake is applied, the light simply indicates the parking brake is active. If the Brake Warning Light is active, the engine is running, and the parking brake is not applied, then the warning light is indicating that the brake fluid level is low, and customers should take immediate action to remedy the situation.

Low Tire Pressure Warning Light

The Low Tire Pressure Warning Light also serves two purposes—indicating low tire pressure or indicating a malfunction with the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). If the vehicle is in motion and one or more tires is low on air, the Low Tire Pressure Warning Light will show and a “Tire Pressure Low – Add Air” message will display on the vehicle information display. If the Low Tire Pressure Warning Light flashes when the engine is started and remains on afterward, then there is a malfunction with the TPMS. Customers should get their vehicle into an INFINITI dealership’s service department as soon as possible.

Master Warning Light

The last warning light with more than one purpose is the Master Warning Light. This warning light activates when one of a number of issues has occurred. When this happens, the Master Warning Light with turn on and the specific issue will display on the vehicle information display.

Visit the service department at INFINITI Guam to have your INFINITI vehicle’s issue examined when a warning light shows up on your vehicle’s instrument cluster!
