What Does the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder Have for Cargo and Seating Features?

When people buy an SUV, they’re often looking at the cargo space and seating capacity. What they don’t think to look at as well, is the cargo and seating features. These features will make every trip more convenient and comfortable. One SUV model that has impressive cargo and seating features is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. To learn about these features, keep on reading!

A large list of possibilities and combinations

Before you enter the Nissan Pathfinder, you’ll enjoy one of the cargo features. The Motion Activated Liftgate allows easy access to the cargo area. All you need to do is kick your foot under the rear bumper and the liftgate will sense the Nissan Intelligent Key. When the liftgate opens, you’ll have the opportunity to get 79.5 cubic feet of cargo space. The folding 2nd– and 3rd-row seats fold flat into the floor creating more space. If you have valuables, you can place them in the underfloor storage compartment. This compartment can still be accessed when all three rows are upright.

For extra comfort, the second row can slide forward up to five inches to allow third-row passengers to spread out their legs. If your passengers like to recline, they’ll still be able to enjoy that feature in the third row. Entering the third row is even easier with LATCH AND GLIDE. This allows for the right seat in the second row to tilt and slide even with a child seat strapped in. If you tend to leave things in the backseat, the Rear Door Alert will remind you to check the rear seats before exiting the Nissan Pathfinder.
