You will notice that the main theme of Nissan Intelligent Mobility is awareness. Blind spot monitoring keeps you updated on your surroundings and what you can’t see. You should still check your blind spots any time you change lanes, but this feature acts as a security blanket for when you are vulnerable. It will give you a slight nudge if you start to move over while another vehicle is in your blind spot.
Have you had difficulty determining how far away you are from other cars while parallel parking? The amazing Around View Monitor uses cameras and composite imagery to give you a bird’s eye view of your Nissan so you know what’s around you in every direction.
This feature uses radar sensors to determine your following distance behind the vehicle directly in front of you. Set the distance to your desired setting and let the system do the rest. It will alter your speed automatically to maintain a constant following distance, so you don’t get too close. Other features included in Nissan Intelligent Mobility are lane intervention and backup intervention.
