Check Out the New INFINITI Prototype 9

Designed with the idea of old-fashioned roadsters in mind, the engineers and designers at INFINITI have created a roadster capable of keeping up with modern driving, as well as looking as timeless as roadsters from days past.

While INFINITI may not have such storied history as other automakers, that didn’t stop some of the top designers from INFINITI from creating a vehicle straight from the days when roadsters ruled the automobile world. What began as an idea of what an INFINITI roadster would look like quickly grew into a sketch. From there the project began to have a life of its own, gaining more traction every day until it was finally completed and showcased at Pebble Beach earlier this month.

INFINITI Prototype 9

The Prototype 9 may not have been there racing the tracks 70 or 80 years ago, but the DNA from those vehicles has helped to inspire the INFINITI models that we see today, including the Prototype 9. Just like back in the day, the engineers at INFINITI made the Prototype 9 by hand by utilizing the art of bending and molding metal.

While we don’t expect to see the Prototype 9 in dealerships any time soon, it’s fun to imagine you’re looking back at a classic piece of history that has been outfitted with some of today’s driving technology. If you’re in the market for a more realistic new INFINITI vehicle, you’ve come to the right place.
