What are some activities you can do outside while social distancing?

With many businesses closed down due to COVID-19, you may be feeling like you’re trapped inside of your house. However, you can still do activities outside. You may be wondering what you can do outside while social distancing. Luckily, there are many things you can do as long as you remain six feet away from other people. Different ways to enjoy the outdoors

  1. Visit a local trail or park. Luckily, many trails and parks are still open for you to get some fresh air. Some popular places include Pagat Cave, Tarzan Falls, Mount Lamlam, and Ritidian Point beach. Check out the blog post linked below for a post about local trails.
  2. Do your exercise outside. Just because your gym closed doesn’t mean you can’t still workout. While it may be weird at first to do your workout routine outside, you’ll be glad that you kept to your fitness goals. Additionally, exercising outdoors helps boost your mood and reduce depression.
  3. Read a book or do a craft. No matter what activity you choose to do, just do it outside. Grab a comfy chair or blanket to put out in your yard and get to work. Doing an activity outside that is usually done indoors, will let you work on your hobbies while getting some vitamin D at the same time.
