How are they helping Nissan owners?

Not only are they offering assistance to current Nissan owners, but they are also offering assistance to new owners. For the current owners, Nissan is offering payment extensions. Based on their current situation, the customer can reach out to Customer Service to figure out how long payments can be extended or ask for assistance. For new owners, Nissan is offering a 90-day Delayed Payment Option. To qualify, customers must purchase a select new Nissan that is financed with Special APR. Nissan will also cover payments for up to two extra months. While many places are under restrictions, Nissan service centers will still remain open.

How are they helping their employees and the community?

Customers aren’t the only ones who need help right now. Any Nissan employee that can work from home will be doing so until further notice. Manufacturing facilities in the United States are currently shut down until late April. Any essential on-site work is still occurring, but the sites are implementing increased health and safety measures. To help healthcare workers stay protected, production facilities in Tennessee, Michigan, and Mississippi are using a 3D printer to print headbands and build protective face-shields.
