The 2020 Nissan Sentra was recently announced and revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show this November! The 2020 model of the Nissan Sentra has been redesigned to offer improved performance, design, and technology features. Let’s explore some of the key improvements of the 2020 Nissan Sentra revealed at the LA Auto Show together!
The 2020 Nissan Sentra will feature a new 2.0L 4-cylinder engine under the hood. This replaces the 1.8L 4-cylinder engine that came standard on the previous edition of the Nissan Sentra. The 2020 Nissan Sentra 2.0L engine will be able to generate 149 horsepower and up to 146 pound-feet of torque. This marks a 20-percent and 16-percent increase in horsepower and torque respectively. The 2020 Nissan Sentra has yet to be rated for fuel economy, but it is expected to be as efficient as the previous version!
Along with improved performance output, the 2020 Nissan Sentra also offers improved design as well! The exterior of the 2020 Nissan Sentra features the signature V-motion grille, thin LED headlights, a floating roof, and a new slate of exterior color options. The interior of the 2020 Sentra is much more refined than the previous version. The interior offers select amenities like leather-appointed and heated front seating and the NASA-inspired Zero Gravity sport seats.
The 2020 Nissan Sentra offers several excellent technology improvements as well! Infotainment technology features on the 2020 Nissan Sentra include an available floating 8-inch multi-touch center display and NissanConnect®, which features both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity. The 2020 Nissan Sentra will also have several great driver assistance technology features available as well, including Nissan Safety Shield 360 standard. Nissan Safety Shield 360 includes features like High Beam Assist, Rear Automatic Braking, and Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection.
