What is the longest parade of Nissan vehicles ever made?

There are always some exciting things happening at Nissan Guam including world records getting broken. What is the longest parade of Nissan vehicles ever made? Nissan Guam might just have the answer. Learn how we officially broke a Guinness World Record.

The longest parade of Nissan vehicles ever happened with Nissan Guam

Guinness World Records has officially certified Nissan Guam as the World Record Title Holder for the longest parade of Nissan cars, with the final record-breaking total at 304 Nissans, according to Nissan Guam General Manager Philippe Gerling.

“In the words of Guinness World Records, our Nissan Guam Nation is — officially amazing!” said Gerling.  “We are absolutely thrilled to put Guam on the world stage by bringing a Guinness World Record to our shores.”

Logistics of the longest Nissan parade ever

Nissan Guam attempted to break the previously held record of 250 Nissans on Nov. 3, 2019, by coordinating more than 330 Nissan vehicles to drive from John F. Kennedy High School in Tamuning to Paseo Park in Hagatna.

“While there is a long verification process that is required, our Nissan familia showed up in force, so we knew we had the numbers we needed to blow the previous record out of the water,” explained Gerling.

Nissan Guam was then required to submit extensive documentation and evidence for Guinness to review and verify that all guidelines were followed during the attempt. Any vehicles that did not meet Guinness’s specific criteria had to be removed from the total, leaving the final count at 304 Nissans.

“Words cannot express how grateful we are to our customers, our community partners, our staff and family and friends for being part of this historical event,” said Gerling. “I am planning to retire this August, and I would say that setting a Guinness World Record is a pretty nice culmination to my 36 years with Nissan.”
