Learning the specs of the Nissan Ariya was certainly exciting. There’s actually a lot that we already know from its world premiere considering the Release date is still a little while off. We know you want to learn more about the first all-electric SUV from Nissan. What are the specs of the all-new Nissan Ariya? We have answers.
The Ariya is far behind the concept stage, but it also isn’t necessarily a final design. It’s final enough that Nissan feels comfortable releasing many specs, but they all have a caveat, everything is subject to change. Still, you can count on many of these specs to be accurate or close to accurate to the final version.
Color options of the Nissan Ariya
The performance of an electric is often very dependent on the battery to begin with. You have two battery options with a 65-kWh option and a long-range 90-kWh version that can provide an estimated range of up to 300 miles.
The battery will have level 2 charging of up to 7.2 kW and a charging type of the CCS standard up to 130 kW. The output of the system is between 160 kW and 290 kW with a torque rated from 221 pound-feet up to 443 pound-feet. This power will support either a front-wheel-drive drivetrain or an e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive system that can utilize two electric motors (hence multiple power ratings).
You may be able to tell just by looking at the outside that the Ariya will be a 2-row 5-passenger SUV. The height of this SUV is set at 65.4 inches or 65.7 inches depending on the roof rack option. It is going to be 74.8 inches wide and 182.9 inches long with a 109.3-inch wheelbase.
Front-wheel-drive versions will offer 16.5 cubic-feet of cargo capacity and all-wheel-drive versions will offer 14.6 cubic-feet of cargo capacity.
