Best places to hike in Guam

1. Inarajan Falls. This trail is a family-friendly choice. Hikers follow a sloping trail that leads to a ledge. When they reach the ledge, they scale down the rocks to get to the bottom area. Once they are down at the bottom they can take as much as they like enjoying the waterfalls and trees. The trail only takes 10 minutes to hike however it is steep so grabbing on to trees is recommended. Most people spend about two hours at the falls before hiking back.
2. Gun Beach. If you only have time for a short hike, this is the perfect trail for you. This trail is only 0.6 miles and is accessible all year. The Gun Bean trail takes you to an old Japanese Artillery cannon, then around a mountain to a beach that overlooks Two Lovers Point. This trail is a great way to enjoy the beach while exploring Barrigada, Guam at the same time.
3. Taguan Trail aka 1,000 Steps Hike. As the title says, this trail takes about 1,000 steps to complete. Roundtrip, this trail is 1.3 miles and takes about one to two hours to complete. Hikers follow steps down until they reach the trail that takes them down to the ocean. If you choose to get closer, you can climb down closer to shore. However, the waves can be very dangerous, so it is advised to take extra caution.
