The Cruz Family: All In On Nissan

It’s rare to find a household where every set of keys features the same emblem. But for one local family, the driveway isn’t just a parking space, it’s a Nissan showroom. From a 1995 Sentra that started it all to a fleet of 2025 models, the Cruz family has turned their preference for Nissan into a multi-generational tradition.

“What drew me at first was the prices, then it was the service. From choosing my very first vehicle to the friendly assistance every time I return, I’ve always felt taken care of,” said family matriarch Tanya Calip Cruz

Tanya’s history with Nissan includes nearly every iconic nameplate in the catalog, including the rugged Hardbody and Frontier trucks, multiple Pathfinders, and the sleek Sentra.

“Nissan was always with us, especially my mom. I thought I might as well get one, too!” said Tanya’s daughter Tiana Calip Murphy

Today, the family’s garage reflects a shared love for Nissan’s adventurous Rock Creek Edition and its signature Baja Storm color palette.  While Tanya prioritizes the rugged performance and massive interior space, Tiana is all about the modern perks.

“I love the new technology,” Tiana says. “The 360° cameras and auto-start are game-changers.”

Beyond the cars themselves, the family attributes their loyalty to the team at Nissan Guam to a stellar overall experience. Whether it’s the sales managers, the accounting team, or the service advisors, the service is consistently high-quality.

“The great service all around is what keeps us coming back,” Tanya notes.
