NISSAN GUAM FLAG RUN RAISES $18,000
On June 10, Nissan Guam hosted its 10th annual 7.5K/2K Flag Run, raising a total of $18,000 for Mañelu, Catholic Social Services, and Guam Girl Scouts, according to General Manager Philippe Gerling.
“For the past 10 years, we’ve had the privilege to work with some wonderful partners and sponsors to help raise nearly $160,000 for the children and families of Guam,” said Gerling. “We are proud to work alongside Mañelu (formerly Big Brothers Big Sisters Guam), Catholic Social Services and Guam Girl Scouts, to assist with fundraising and awareness for their phenomenal organizations.”
For the 7.5K race, the top overall male finisher was Ryan Matienzo with a time of 26:14, and Kristen Lawrence earned the top overall female honors with a time of 29:05. The 2K top female finisher was Airi Inoue with a time of 8:00, and Kenta Horikawa secured the top overall male spot with a time of 8:07.
